    Re: EPG in Portugal

Hi Nuno, I finally have a definitive answer for you, Discovery is not a contracted channel for your area's EPG (PT), this is a list of the contracted channels which you should get EPG for. Sorry if this wasn't the answer you wanted.

    Lusomundo Action

    Lusomundo Happy

    Lusomundo Premium

    RTP1

    RTP2

    SIC (POR)

    SIC Comedia

    SIC Mulher

    SIC Noticias

    SIC Radical

    Sport TV (POR)

    TVI

Yes, it wasn't the answer I wanted Sad

The Lusomundo channels changed their names to TVCine 1,2,3 and added a 4th channel, Sport TV now has 3 channels... Sic Comedia no longer exists... So I think the contracted channels should be reviewed. I could make a list for the most viewed channels available for the different providers, unless Microsoft doesn't want to invest in a better EPG for Portugal, maybe in-band epg is coming soon and it doesn't make sense to invest right now, I don't know. It's just a bit disapointing. Anyway next thursday, my main tv provider will be MEO (MediaRoom), but I'm going to keep my cable tv with the basic channels connected to Media Center, I hope IPTV on Media Center doesn't take long...

    Thanks Steve

    Re: EPG in Portugal

Please make up the list nuno and I'll take the content of this thread and your list and I will forward all the information to the PM in charge of international channel contracting. Hopefully it will help them in making any decisions they make over this. Thanks for the information nuno. I just wish I knew more about this specific area so I could give you a better answer :)

    Re: EPG in Portugal

Hi Steve, sorry for the delay, but the school is almost over, and there's a lot of work and exams.

Here's an Excel file with the channels of most of the TV providers in Portugal (the lineup for other providers is almost the same)

Channels have scores, 1 means it only exists in one provider, 4 means it exists in all the listed providers.

So please, grab the file and forward it to the Media Center team.

    Thank you
